Part VI: Precious Metals Stock Charts

March 6, 2008

I promised that I would return with a few charts of stocks in the HUI to show why I think the HUI will likely make a big move higher based on the charts of some of its components. Well, after a 15 minute break, here we go. I will only show the few HUI stocks that I looked at last night, plus a couple of other charts.

PART I- REVIEW

PART V- HUI FRACTAL POTENTIALS

Should be out soon.

Chart 1 is the chart of Goldcorp. Pittrader who posts on the Gold-Eagle Forum has discussed some of his work on this chart. GG tends to drop about 50% from highs, then tends to increase by about 4 times off the low on the next up-move. Looks to me like it’s gonna do it, again, Sam! Potential target might be around $83.

Chart 1

Chart 2 is the chart of Kinross Gold. KGC also looks ready to “jump the creek” as “Third eye open trades” likes to say. Potential target looks to me to be around $57.

Chart 2

Chart 3 is the chart of Newmont Mining. NEM looks to me like it might be ready to run to about $86 to 90.

Chart3

Chart 4 is the chart of Silver Standard Resources. Lately, it seems like investors are a bit down on SSRI, but if it does what it did in the earlier fractal, those investors are going to be waking up pretty quickly. The chart potential looks to me to be a whopping $128, or more, if the fractal plays out, again. Watch for some Silver explorers to light up some portfolios.

Chart4

Chart 5 is the chart of USERX- Dr. SKI’s baby. I think USERX is going to put a smile on SKI’s face for awhile. The chart potential looks to me to be to about $38 or a bit higher if USERX can just get through a couple of angled resistance lines. Above those two lines lies a big gap in resistance that price can run right through like a hot knife through butter.

Chart5

Chart 6 is the chart of Gold in Rand. This chart shows you what Gold in Rand is doing while the electricity problem in South Africa is in progress. I have asked a question on the chart in terms of the SA Gold Producers. Please say a little prayer for all of the people of South Africa who might have a rougher life without enough electricity while your Gold price soars.

Chart6

Chart 7 gives us a look at $Silver going vertical. I love this chart.

Chart 7

I hope you enjoyed the charts, above. I kept them rather simple and uncluttered. Once we have the website up and running, we should be able to include many more individual stock charts in our work. I would again like to thank readers for the many kind comments that I have received. We are compiling an e-mail list to contact those who wish to be notified when our new site is up. Again, I’d like to thank all of the posters at the Gold-Eagle Forum for their daily input. This thank you is especially extended to TQ and to Grininbarrett who have positively affected my growth over the years. Special thanks go to Dr. Vronsky and Westerman for creating the Gold-Eagle site and for editing my work. A very special “Congratulations” go out to Dr. Vronsky and Westerman after Gold-Eagle saw its hit counter ring up to 281 million this last week.

Thanks also go out to CaptainHook and David Petch of TreasureChests since I have learned so much from them. They offer a wide diversity of fundamental and technical information and can be found at

Here is the link to a site I use to research the warrants of Precious Metals stocks. I will be discussing some aspects of the leveraged use of warrants later in this editorial series.
